The American Alpine Club maintains the
Grand
Teton Climbers' Ranch in Grand Teton National
Park. The Ranch provides lodging in rustic
cabins, as well as cooking, bath, dishwashing,
and equipment storage facilities.
In an effort to provide additional affordable
places to stay near major climbing areas, the
AAC's Huts Committee has signed agreements with
other existing lodging facilities that give a 25
percent discount to AAC members and members of
foreign climbing clubs. Proof of membership
(i.e. your membership card) must be provided to
obtain your discounted rates.
The participating facilities include:
AAC Bunkhouse at Tuthilltown Gristmill. This
private house located three miles from the Shawangunks has beds for 10 guests, fully
equipped kitchen, woodstove, VCR, audio, cable,
internet access, large living area and parking.

Bison Willy's Bunkhouse. Located 40 miles
southwest of Cody and three miles from more than
200 world-class, multi-pitch ice climbs, Bison

Colorado Mountain School. Located in downtown
Estes Park only 10 miles from Rocky Mountain
National Park and three miles from Lumpy Ridge,

by 13,000' and 14,000' peaks, this Colorado
